Jail Time vs Paying Fine -- Los Angeles Harbor Police?
I received a ticket for rolling through a stop sign and not having proof of insurance. The fine is $890! I have insurance, so that part of the fine will be subtracted, however it isn't itemized, so maybe I'll be on the hook for $400. Anyway, how much jail time will I have to do if I can't pay the fine? I had a friend who took jail time over the fine and got out in 24 hours for $800 worth of tickets; I'm thinking of doing the same. But that was 10 years ago. So what about now? Will I be given jail as an option? If so, how much time will I REALLY have to do?

Will anyone hire an ex con with 2 felonies that are over 7 yrs old?
I just finished Los Angeles Harbor College with an AA degree. I wanted to become an RN but cannot even attend school because of the livescan they require now. I need some advice and direction on what to do with my life? I'm a smart woman and a hard worker. Right now I am doing caretaking and it doesn't pay much even with my experience. I am trying to branch out on my own and have great references.

Which of these colleges is better to attend?
I have been looking at three colleges. Southwest city college, Los Angeles city college, and Los Angeles Harbor college. I have been to Southwest and I like the campus and the size. I also have been to LACC and this school is a good size and has a good reputation in academics and well as southwest and harbor. Now harbor college I dont know much about. I did research on all the schools but I have not been able to choose. My question is which school would you recommend? Based on what you know and what I some what provided.
