This question is regarding a friend who wants a certified copy of her marriage certificate.?
I've answered 69 questions this week on yahoo answers but have not met anyone like my best friend.
She married a jerk ten years ago and does not know what name he signed on their original marriage certificate! How in Hell Dabarge am I going to bring home the fact that she played herself?
I've contacted the folks at the Los Angeles Registrar's office and told them that she needs the certificate to rent a housing project and that I needed it to get the certificate for her.
I'm thinking of baling on this one. What would you guys do???
I didn't ask my question the right way...sorry. What I wanted to do was to find out if my friend had to get the certified certificate with her name only or if she had to find out all of his alias's?
She's an older, disabled lady that I try to make things a little easier for. But I am aware that I can't go to her registrar's office and get it or online. I never deal with any of my older friend's social security numbers and don't live in the same state. So I can't access it in any way.
I can only give her the info, the money to get the info and hope that that jerk of a husband of hers days under the rock that he must have crawled under. Lol.

I got married overseas on January 1st 2011. How can I register my marriage in Los Angeles Registrar Recorder?
I went to LA Registrar Recorder office and tried to register my marriage, but they told me I cannot. They said I already married overseas there is no need to register in the US again. I don't think that is a true statement. I would like to have a marriage record in the US since I am the citizen. I just need to have a record here for legal purpose. Does anyone know what's the procedure to register marriage in LA? Thank you.

I need a birth certificate to get an id but i need an id to get a birth certificate?
i need to go to the Los Angeles registrar to get my birth certificate so i can go to the DMV to get an ID/License, but i need an ID/License to get a birth certificate according to the registrar website?
my goal here is to get my licence, i have a photocopy of my birth certificate and my social security card and a college ID.
also, i live in Orange County and don't want to go all the way to just to get my birth certificate.
but if i absolutely have to i will. and i know that if i want to order it online or by mail i have to get paperwork notarized, but i dont want to spend money on that, id rather go to LA.
what can I do here?
