The Best Theme Parks In Los Angeles

LA has two great things going for it - some superb beaches and a wealth of fantastic theme parks to delight and amaze you.

But while you may want to visit one or two of the beaches during your stay in Los Angeles, make sure you have plenty of time to experience the various theme parks that are on offer.

Universal Studios is probably one of the most famous and best loved of all the parks. This is partly because it offers more than just one experience. Not only do you have the actual theme park, you also have the tour of the movie studios to look forward to. This is unmissable if you want a chance to see the stars.

Even if you aren't lucky enough to see anyone famous, you'll certainly see lots of famous movie sets. This is one of the main reasons why so many people enjoy the tour. How much of it will look familiar to you?

If you are visiting with the whole family then Disneyland will be another good place to visit. Alongside the big rides there are smaller ones that are designed for the younger members of the family to enjoy. This is definitely another location which requires a full day to appreciate the best of it.

Many of the theme parks are designed to ensure that all the family has plenty of fun. So even though they aren't the cheapest days out you will certainly get your money's worth from each one. Make sure you grab a map for each theme park as soon as you arrive; it's a good idea to sit down for a few moments and figure out where you would like to go first. Then you can plan a route round the park you are visiting, to make sure you take in the best it has to offer.

Another great option to consider when visiting Los Angeles is Legoland. If you played with Lego when you were younger you will know just how addictive it can be. And there is nothing quite like seeing Miniland, which contains scale reproductions of famous sights in the US including the Statue of Liberty.

There are several more theme parks to visit in LA as well, and they are all within a reasonable distance of each other. This means that you can choose a hotel that puts you nice and close to several of the parks. There are lots of Los Angeles hotels available so you will be sure to find one that suits your needs and requirements.

Remember too that some of the theme parks can be booked in advance, which can sometimes save you money. It's worth doing your research before you go in order to make your theme park visits even more memorable.

Does Becerra as US Trade Representative represent change you can believe in?
Becerra's only experience is in getting pardons for a drug dealer and getting lighter sentences for the Clinton's relatives. I guess is the change that Obama said people could believe in. Right? The California congressman in discussions with President-elect Barack Obama to become U.S. trade representative played a role in President Bill Clinton's commuting the prison sentence of a cocaine dealer. The cocaine dealer's family had made $15,000 in political donations to the congressman and hired Clinton's brother-in-law for $200,000 to help free Carlos Vignali. Becerra was a candidate for mayor of Los Angeles in early 2001 when it came to light that he and several other politicians and prominent public figures wrote letters supportive of Vignali, who was accused of shipping 800 pounds of cocaine ? worth about $5 million then ? from Los Angeles to Minneapolis. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081203/ap_on_go_pr_wh/obama_clinton_clemency;_ylt=AkmXVYmA1.YRC6SERtzxtq9snwcF

If Obama grants $2.4 Billion dollars to Los Angeles, do you think only 4,936 jobs is all that can be created?
Looks like only the illegals from Mexico are going to be working according to the planned projects, here, to me. What do you think? If the projects don't include beautifying our schools and giving teachers a raise, etc., and along these lines, then the money will be transported to Mexico and will be lost. What do you think? Los Angeles, Calif. Projects: $2.4 billion Jobs estimate: 4,936 Perhaps hoping to avoid a repeat of the California Water Wars, Los Angeles could swiftly use up $852 million on some 28 different water projects (that have already been funded, so this is a scam). Many of L.A.'s projects have a green tilt, too: $100 million for car pool lane enhancements on I-405 (another scam), $110 million for clean fuel trucks (which buys new trucks for the Mexicans coming to deliver from Mexico, another scam) and $77 million to rehabilitate the ecosystem of Machado Lake (another scam). So, it looks like the mayor of Los Angeles is going to do a 'Ponzi Scheme' here, and Obama needs to scrutinize who he gives our tax dollars too. Are we concerned yet? Send your story to Obama: http://change.gov/page/s/yourstory
