If the MLB season stopped today in the A.L. the Detroit would play Chicago and New York would play Oakland. In the N.L. New York would play San Diego and St. Louis would play Los Angeles. Should the season end now and end all the fans pain or should we keep watching and hope for the best?

Should there even be playoffs in the American League this year?
Lets look at what we have right now: 1 seed - Red Sox 2 seed - Angels 3 seed - Indians 4 seed - Yankees Right now, Cleveland would play New York and Boston would play Los Angeles. Now is there even a reason for these division series' to be played? Everyone knows what is going to happen.. it will be Boston vs. New York. I mean, isnt that inevedible? Even if Cleveland and Los Angeles flip seeds, the scenario would basically be the same. I do think that 1 should play 4 and 2 should play 3.. but since 1 and 4 are in the same division, they cannot play eachother in the first round. That is a load of bs in my opinion. The wild card team didnt win their division.. so playing the #1 seed is their punishment for not doing that.. makes sense. yea i meant that.. but cleveland will surpass los angeles. And what I mean is.. everything AL is about Boston/New York. Baseball wont let is be any other way than a showdown in the ALCS. This is not about what team is the best. It is how baseball wont let anything but New York play Boston. Everything baseball is about those 2 teams. If I gotta go as far as saying it will be fixed.. so be it. It WILL be Boston/New York just because MLB thinks it is the best draw.

Howcome people keep saying hockey is a dying sport?
the way i look at it its huge in canada, and then you got the hockey crazy cities like detroit, colorado, minnesota, buffalo, and it seems like hockey is getting more popularity in chicago and columbus, thanks to jonathan toews and rick nash, also of note the nhl just reported that the nhl recorded its best ever attendance record for the month of november. Being a canadian and a person who llives and breathes hockey do you really think i care that its "ALLEGEDLY" losing popularity? hack no. In all respects the only places there losing popularity is nashville, los angeles, and phoenix (coincidentally bottom feeder teams who would probably get a renewal in fan attendance and popularity, if they ever got any real superstars right, nobody wants to pay to see shane doan or david legwand, they want someone like crosby or ovechkin, because what i noticed is that when the capitals or penguins played los angeles or phoenix the attendance record was up substantially ) ANYWAYS WHAT DO YOU THINK? like john tavares of the oshawa generals, if he gets drafted by the phoenix coyotes or los angeles kings, than he might just be the savior of that team( im not sure about this but he's supposed to be good as if not better than sidney crosby, go look him up for yourself, you can use wikipedia if you want, i wouldnt though) sammy you can kiss the grossest part of my @$$

For New Comedy Tour LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Two of the most famous pot smokers of the 1970s, Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong, unveiled plans on Wednesday for their first comedy tour in more than 25 years following their acrimonious split. "Cheech & Chong: Light Up America ..." will hit 22 cities in the United States starting with Philadelphia on September 12 and ending in Denver, Colorado, on December 20. In between they will play Los Angeles, Miami, Washington, D.C. and other places. "This is a moment that I've been looking forward to for many, many years because we have such a legacy and history together that we couldn't escape it, even if we tried," Chong told reporters at a news conference to announce the tour. Cheech and Chong were one of the most successful comedy teams of the 1970s with hit movies and chart-topping records based on their brand of marijuana-influenced humor. They were potheads who appealed to a youth generation steeped in personal freedom spawned by 1960s-era hippies. Marin said their humor about doing stupid things while being stoned on marijuana should still appeal to today's youth, as well as Cheech & Chong's older fans. "We've had the younger audience all along. Every time they get to that certain age, they go through that Cheech & Chong period of watching the movies, listening to the records. So, it's almost like a rite of passage," Marin said. The comedy duo said the tour will be theatrical and will rely on the sizable budget that Live Nation -- the company behind the tour -- can muster. When they toured early in their careers, the duo's props were a bag of used clothes, but the new tour will have large video screens to flash images on.
